What you mean to me followed by a prayer for my children and husband…

I am not worthy, but you welcome me into your presence anyway. I am humbled by your perfection.

When I meet You, I realize my need for you and my soul cries out. My emotions overcome me.

I cry tears.  

Tears of relief, tears of joy, tears of gratitude, tears of ineptitude made right by your mercy and grace.

Tears of revelation to your precious, untouchable holiness.

It is hard for me to put into words the feeling that comes. The peace and stillness of my heart.

My whole being recognizes this is where I’m meant to be. With You.

You know every single secret, every duplicitous detail about me, and you love me completely anyway.

You forgive me and choose to only see the best in me. I have no other friend like you.

That is what sets you apart. Your love. It’s unbeatable.

It draws me near and leaves me wanting more always.

The euphoria of your love it unmatched by any drug or high this world has to offer.

When I’m with you I’m so high I don’t ever want to land.

You fill my life with joy and hope and purpose.

Isn’t that what us lost sheep are searching for? In you I am found.

When I feel you it fills me with faith. And when I don’t have faith, I remember those moments and how real you are when I felt you.

You constantly give me reasons to trust you. You never let me down.

You have been my anchor through so many ups and downs.

I would be in the pits without you. Without you my life would be so different. So sad. So hopeless.

BUT you found me. You drew me to you with your loving kindness.

I am so thankful for you. I am so thankful. I love you. I trust you. I am so thankful for you. I need you. I am so thankful for you.

And I pray this for my children. I pray that they feel the same way about you. My greatest hope for them is you. I pray that you draw them to you every single day. I pray that you show them who you are and that you give them eyes to see you, a mind open to find you, and a heart soft enough to let you in. I pray that your presence be revealed to Brock, Josie, and Daniel. I beg of you Lord for you to save them with the gift of yourself. Choose them. I pray they choose you every single day. Please teach them to trust you and to delight in you. I pray that the realize their need for you and drink from you. I pray that you give them purpose. I pray you light a fire within their soul. I pray you claim the flame. I pray that they don’t feel right without you and when they find you they recognize that you were what they needed. I pray that you whisper in their ears what they mean to you and what you mean to them. I pray you pour out your favor over their lives. I pray that the Your Holy Spirit be active in their lives instilling Your gifts and Your fruits in them. I pray that they stay within your will. I pray they see that obedience to you is your protection. I pray that they forgive and love others because you forgive and love them. I pray that they look at your word full of wonder and awe. I pray you reveal to their hearts wheat your word means. I pray they see your heart and that your intentions are always good for them. I pray that your cup runneth over onto them so that they are constantly living in your overflow. I pray that you show them generosity and they the in turn show others generosity. I pray that you instill your confidence in them so that they do not feel the need to conform to this world. I pray that they seek to please you because you please them. I pray that they recognize your love for them so that they will keep coming back for me. Show them your goodness and your mercy. How different you are from this world. You are amazing. I love you and I pray that you show Pedie and I how to shepherd them and lead them to you. I know you have assigned them to us, so I am confident you will show us how. I am confident in you and not in me. Even though we are not perfect, in our weakness you are strong. I pray you give us confidence to parent them through your Holy Spirit. I pray you give us the desire to always make you our priority and you show us when we are straying from Your Will in our lives. Thank you for our children. Thank you for Brock. Thank you for Josie. Thank you for Daniel. Thank you for their unique qualities that makes them so special. Thank you for making them so beautiful in your image. Thank you for choosing them. Thank you for blessing them. Thank you for blessing us. Thank you so much for my husband. He is more than I could ever ask for. I pray that you stay at the center of his desires. I pray that you give him ridiculous favor at his job, and with everything he touches. I pray that you show me how to love him best. How to serve him best. How to be the wife he needs. Thank you so much for him. Bless him. Speak to him. Draw him close to you. In Jesus name I come to you. In Jesus name it is done. Amen.
