Day 2 of Fast Morning Prayer

Good morning,

On day 2 of this fast, I am feeling peace. Thank you for that, Father. I am so thankful for you. Reflecting back and remembering your faithfulness touches my heart. Thank you for being faithful even when I am not. I have wondered off into my selfish ways aiming to please myself instead of you. Thank you for forgiving me for that and thank you for future forgiveness. It’s hard for me to fathom that you died on the cross anticipating my duplicity. You came to give me freedom and forgiveness. Please put a desire to please you in my heart. Give me motivation anew everyday through your Holy Spirit. Remind me of you who are in little things throughout the day. Speak to me and say, “This is because of me.” Let me find your personal blessings in everyone you chose. I want to see you. I want to know you more. Thank you for your word. I pray that you show me how you move in children of any age. That they even as young as they are can seek you and know you and feel you. Please show me that through my children. Show me your Holy Spirit operating in them. Even Daniel, even Josie, even Brock. Thank you that Brock is seeking you and your word. No matter what immature motivation it is (that is even true with me – immature motivations). Reveal yourself to him that his motivations become more pure and stronger. Let him get a taste of your goodness and mercy. I pray that you would continue to heal his mind and call him towards you. I pray that you be with Josie. I see your joy and beauty bursting through her. I pray your pour even more of your joy and beauty in her. Father, heal her mind and open her mouth. I pray that you show her and give her the desire to be potty trained. I pray that you motivate her and open her mouth to speak when you are ready for her to. I pray that you be with Daniel. Rest is holy and I believe that. I know that you want him to get good rest at night and us too. I pray that you give us the gift of your rest at night. I pray that you teach Daniel to sleep all night. That you motivate him through your Holy Spirit to sleep all night and deeply. I pray that you teach him to sooth himself back to sleep when he wakes. I pray that you lift up my husband. Fill him with your Spirit and wisdom to lead our family. And finally, I pray for favor and guidance with the Battle Creek house. It is your house, Father. It is yours. Do with it what you please. You are my reward, my treasure. No matter where I live, as long as you are there, I have everything I need. I love you. I trust you.

In Jesus name,

Amen
